Ballin' For Peace
Under the umbrella of New Social Workers, Ballin’ For Peace is a non-profit organization based in Santa Monica, California. They provide recreational activities, health and educational services for at-risk youths in the community. Today, they have expanded their organization to have a global presence. As such, Co-Founder Ryan Hicks approached Envisager Studio to build a dynamic at-risk youth programs website design detailing their events and services.

About the project
BALLIN’ FOR PEACE: CHANGING COMMUNITIES ONE YOUTH AT A TIME
As a global organization that partners with national NBA teams, Ballin’ For Peace had specific requirements. First, they needed their youth empowerment and mentoring programs to be thoroughly documented. And second, they wanted a non-traditional at-risk youth website that was a cut above the standard-looking nonprofit website designs. The result is a strong and aesthetically pleasing website that emanates professionalism that is worthy of NBA partnerships.
At-risk youth programs website design for nonprofits
One of the main criteria for this project was to create an at-risk youth programs website design that is unique to other non-profits. With this in mind, we chose red cream berry and black colors to evoke a sense of urgency in supporting these programs. Given that much of their storytelling is video and audio, the Envisager Studio web design team created a spectacular media section. Featuring NBA players, entertainers and community leaders, one can spend hours in this area of the site.
Pages are organized with on-page menus linked to corresponding content for easy navigation. The Envisager Studio team also setup a blog as a content marketing strategy. Overall, the website has a clean, polished look with detailed programs and events information. In addition, the website commands the attention of potential sponsors.
