ULOC Community Network
ULOC Community Network provides mobile food pantry service and household necessities to families struggling in Tampa Bay. Their mobile pantry serves over 3.000 families monthly. They chose Envisager Studio to create an effective food bank website design for their nonprofit. The comprehensive website helps the community nonprofit further its mission of creating a better way to deal with hunger by improving food security.

About the project
ULOC COMMUNITY NETWORK: A BETTER WAY TO DEAL WITH HUNGER
The Director contacted Envisager Studio to establish a dynamic food bank website design that also included their additional community services. At the forefront of their nonprofit is helping those in need. They were looking for a website that highlighted the basic needs of those living in the Tampa Bay Area while also boosting donations and volunteer sign ups. In order to meet the client’s needs, our content and design team had to strike a balance between the organization’s needs and those of the community. By focusing on this aspect, messaging does not neglect either group.
Logo + branding
ULOC Community Network’s logo combines pictorial elements and text to create an encompassing logo design that includes both the brand name and symbolic imagery. The symbol containing four colorful abstract people and grid shape represents the diverse communities in which ULOCCN serves. For the colors, we chose shades of black, red, blue, and jade to represent diversity. Our goal was to create a sense of community working together. The result is a logo that is sophisticated, contemporary and accurately represents the brand. When viewing the logo on their food bank website, the design immediately induces a feeling of hopefulness.
Food bank website design for nonprofit
Important goals for ULOCCN’s new food bank website design was to encourage volunteer sign ups, donations, detailed service pages, and food pantry locations. The website has built-in features that include: donations, volunteering and sponsorship options, comprehensive service pages, and a monthly food pantry calendar. Envisager Studio created an extensive, clean, easy-to-navigation, and responsive nonprofit website.
The design uses clear typography and white space, with the primary goal of connecting those in need with the nonprofit’s network of services. To further enhance the design, we also incorporated intricate background elements to add more pop to the pages. And no website is complete without keyword usage throughout the webpages, which we incorporated. All things considered, this is a dynamic, interactive and beautiful nonprofit website design.
